As part of Washington University Physicians, we are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of State, Washington University infectious disease experts, and state public health agencies to help protect our patients from the COVID-19.
We are also still in cold and flu season. The best way to prevent infection from COVID-19, the flu and other viruses that cause the common cold is to wash your hands frequently with soap and water and/or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Please also cover your mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue, turn away from people and cough into your shoulder or elbow. Do not cover your coughs and sneezes with your hands. Stay home when you are sick, and avoid contact with others who are sick. If your child is sick, please call our office to discuss your child’s symptoms: 636-939-3362.
Some patient visits may be offered as Virtual Visits. A patient guide for Zoom, a virtual visit platform, is here (PDF).
